Voting Matters is a project of the Housing & Building Association of Colorado Springs to inform and activate the workforce that drives our homebuilding and construction industry in Colorado Springs and the Pikes Peak Region. Many elections have very low voter turnout. In last April’s Colorado Springs City Council elections, only 23.5% of voters participated. That means fewer than 1 in 4 voters decided who leads our city.
